Wrocław and Łódź in the final of Erasmus Destination of the Year 2025!
Two Polish cities - Wroclaw and Łódź - have been selected as finalists in the Erasmus Destination of the Year 2025 competition, organised annually by the Erasmus Student Network (ESN). This recognition highlights Poland's growing reputation as a welcoming, dynamic and student-friendly destination within the Erasmus+ programme.
The Erasmus Destination of the Year award recognises cities that provide an outstanding experience for international students, taking into account the quality of student life, integration efforts, support from local ESN chapters, academic offer and overall atmosphere. The award promotes best practice in internationalisation and inspires cities across Europe to invest further in building inclusive and supportive communities for exchange students.
The nomination of Wrocław and Łódź is a joint success of the cities and their local ESN sections - ESN Wrocław Tech, ESN UEW Wrocław, ESN-EYE Łódź and ESN UŁ - whose commitment, creativity and tireless efforts shape unforgettable Erasmus journeys for hundreds of students every year.
The winner of the Erasmus Destination of the Year 2025 will be announced during the Erasmus Generation Meeting - ESN's annual flagship event - on 6 April. Regardless of the outcome, this recognition already confirms that Poland is one of the most exciting and student-centred Erasmus destinations in Europe.
