The weekend between the 5th and 9th of June was special for every ESNer at Cracow University of Economics. Undoubtedly, a high temperature was not the only reason why everyone felt a little dizzy here. Great volume of excitement and thrill and large amount of positive emotions affected us all in the best possible ways, and all of this due to the Council of National Representatives 2014 organized and hosted by ESN UEK (Cracow University of Economics).

We started on Thursday when the first guests started to arrive. The Opening Ceremony, which took place at the Royal Wawel Castle, opened the whole event. With a glass of champagne we officially started the Council of National Representatives Kraków 2014.
All the guests were warmly welcomed by the President of ESN UEK - Paweł Pankowicz, recently elected President of ESN Poland - Robert Banet and President of ESN International - Stefan Jahnke. All three of them gave a short speech. There was no end of toast and greetings. Following, was the presentation of the partner of ESN UEK – Capgemini. The ceremony was crowned with a memorial group picture.

CNR is all about discussions, plenary meetings, presentations, voting, decision-taking and debates. However, besides that, there is also a time for integration, party and all sorts of attractions.

On Friday evening, shortly after the dinner, all the participants took part in the TRAMPARTY – an amazing party in a speeding tram! A highlight of the night was a visit in Shine Club, one of the biggest and fanciest clubs in the city. This evening will remain in our memory for a long time!

Saturday evening was a time of feasting for the body. Both, the polish ESNers and National Representatives prepared their traditional food and dishes which were presented at the EURODINNER. There was no end of eating, tastings, sneaking and drinking.

However, Saturday night was not only about the Eurodinner!  The next point of the evening was a theme party - POLISH WEDDING! Together with a freshly married couple of CNR guests we had an opportunity to try some typical Wedding games, which as the tradition requires, lasted until dawn.

Sunday was marked by anticipation and thrill due to the mysterious surprise which the OC had prepared for the participants. After the plenaries, all the NRs got on the bus and went directly to Zabierzów where it turned out that the surprise was the Festival of Colors! NRs could release their emotions and feel carefree while throwing the color powders in the air and covering themselves in different colors.

This amazing surprise ended the official program of CNR Krakow 2014. However, for those who wanted more, the OC had prepared an additional program for Monday: trip to Auschwitz and Wieliczka Salt Mine.

CNR Kraków 2014 is now officially over, but we would like to warmly invite all of you to visit our beautiful City of Legends.  You will be delighted by Polish hospitality which the participants of the CNR Kraków 2014 had already an opportunity to experience.
