1. What does ESN mean to you?
ESN is a part of my life. Also a great adventure and a place for self development.

2. How did your ESN adventure start?
It may sound silly but my beginnings in ESN were hard because I was very shy. I wasn’t able to start feeling comfortable during any events. I didn’t go on an integration camp because of the timing. Why am I still here? I wonder myself. I met a few people who I caught a connection with. I was curious what would happen next which gave me an opportunity to develop myself. I worked on graphic design. Then, I coordinated an Orientation Week. I took part in every event but parties :D. This was only the beginning, the adventure still continues. Probably, thanks to billions of little things that pushed me on and on.

3. How did ESN change your life? Why have you joined it?
I think that it taught me time management at work and taking responsibility for my actions. When I started studying I wanted to do something more that just learning. During my first semester I saw a poster informing about the recruitment hanging next to the stairs of my faculty. Out of curiosity I went on the meeting with my groupmates. ESN was saying about may different things. I can only remember Erasmus in Schools and SocialErasmus’ projects. I wanted to know what that was, and how I can help so I applied and got in.

4. If you were an ESN project, what would you be?
SocialErasmus of course. Once Social, Social Forever ;). I joined the organization because of this project. It gave a whole lot of motivation and showed me that we can do and learn by trying. It also showed me that in ESN we work for others. The amount of both huge and small events I coordinated was enormous. We had loads of crazy ideas and all of that gave us so much fun and joy.

5. #FunFact about a life in ESN.
I’ve been a part of ESN for that long that there are only two things I haven’t coordinated. The first one is PR (I wanted to pursue this path, it was the only job in the section’s board that I’ve missed, even though I’ve always wanted to do it). The second one is Party (I was the worst party queen in the world, however I helped organise many).

6. Did you go on the Erasmus+ exchange? / What is the most interesting experience you had so far?
Yes. I’ve always wanted to go on Erasmus exchange. Before studies, I’d taken part in Socrates Comenius and a variety of short term exchanges (including the one with EVS’ volunteers). Studying abroad wasn’t easy. I had to face many challenges on the way. I spent one year abroad. First, on my Erasmus in Spain, then on an internship in Kazakhstan. I can’t talk about only one experience because I had loads. I think that meeting the locals gave me the most stories to tell.

7. What inspires and motivates you the most?
I won’t say anything new. From people. From my section’s members and HR Committee :D. Creativity, motivation and will to achieve something that others have make me want to be the same! I don’t like giving up. My motivation can be simply a will to finish something I’ve started to prove myself I can. Everything’s possible! If not now, then later ;). I can be hard but it’s worth it. In the moment of doubt, I have been always given support. Thanks to it, I always want  to do more to see myself and others develop.

8. Favourite place in the world?
Poland. Not anywhere specific, just our country. We have so many beautiful places do discover! The only thing I would change about it (because of Alicante) is the sea being closer to the mountains. It’s not so I choose mountains. I also love travelling and my to-see-list will probably never end ;).

9. Did ESN help you discover some things you didn’t know you were good at?
The list is very long. HR, finance, ability to take care of formal stuff or managing to finish an already started project, crisis management, solving arguments. And last, but not least, time management. Ok, I’m still working on that one. What’s more, the people who know me, often don’t believe that I have a problem making new friends. I think thanks to ESN I am an introvert who camouflages well and loves group work ;).
