On October 20-21 2018, the Council of Local Representatives was held, organised by the ESN UMK Toruń section. The theme of the entire congress was the Middle Ages. On Friday evening, Delegates had the opportunity to visit the beautiful old town of Toruń, see a unique brewery in the heart of the city and try a gingerbread beer there, as well as test their knowledge of the Middle Ages during a quiz prepared by the OC.
Saturday morning and afternoon of course passed on long, stormy and fruitful deliberations in the hall of the Nicolaus Copernicus University. There were also trainings for Delegates on such important topics as GDPR, establishment and running of associations, the future of ESNcard recommendations and the National Erasmus Games project. In the evening of that day, we all gathered in Collegium Maximum for the gala of the 15th anniversary of the ESN UMK Toruń section, during which we had the opportunity to learn about the history of the section and hear moving memories of people associated with it.
On Sunday morning, the Delegates met once again in the assembly hall of the Nicolaus Copernicus University to vote and participate in Small Sessions. Next time they will meet at the National Platform of ESN Poland in Gdansk on November 30. See you there!
