Legal Advisory Team of ESN Poland is in charge of the day-to-day legal management of the Association. It plays a vital role in the process of signing new agreements – the Team is responsible for checking their compatibility with the law, as well as with the acts regulating the Association’s activity (the Statute, the Rules and Regulations). It also reviews various types of documents for the Board. On a daily basis, Legal Advisory Team answers the questions of the particular sections and the members of the Association, it helps to solve the legal issues and to correctly interpret different regulations. The members of Legal Advisory Team regularly check whether the law amendments influence or not the Association’s functioning, and if so, they react accordingly.
The Team also undertakes actions which aim at modernising the Association through researching the most effective solutions in the matter of the structure and the form of its functioning, the execution of its duties related to reporting and taxation, as well as the personal data management and processing. One of its other goals is increasing the legal awareness of the members of the Association.
Although Legal Advisory Team works rather in the other committees’ shadow, it plays a remarkably vital role. It enables efficient and legal functioning of the Association, it advises on the solution of problems which require specialised knowledge, it looks after the Association’s welfare.
